Does Charlie Grace sell alcohol?
No. Charlie Grace only serves alcohol and drinks supplied by the event organiser. Sometimes liquor licensing is required (please check with your local council); but you save a ton of money by buying your own alcohol. We can help advise of amounts needed for your event. 

What can be served?
Any bottled wine, beer, cider, champagne, spirits, punch, non-alcoholic, and Charlie Grace also come with a fantastic coffee machine,
so you can enjoy barista-made coffee.

How much alcohol will I need?
This is always a common one. We are only too happy to help you with selection and quantities that you will need based on the type of event and number of guests. Many liquor stores allow you to return unused items. So no wasted leftovers - Bonus!

 Are you just a mobile bar?
Absolutely not. There is a very cool coffee machine and we are barista trained. This enables us to provide additional and alternative events that do not require alcohol. We can also provide canapes and/or grazing tables to any event out of our commercial kitchen based at Turanga Creek Vineyard.

What events does Charlie Grace service?
Charlie Grace can bring that special ‘something’ to your event. Whether it’s your wedding day, birthday, or corporate function, our mobile caravan bar is very adaptable. It can also be decorated to suit your special event. 

What areas do you service?
Charlie Grace is located in Whitford, Auckland. We are happy to travel throughout the greater Auckland area.
Mileage charges may apply for locations more than 40km from Whitford at $2 per km. 

Does Charlie Grace come with trained staff?
Yes, on most occasions 2 bar staff works well for approx. 100 guests, but this depends on your individual party.
If you need more, we will bring more. Easy! (Charges will apply for additional staff)

Do you serve cocktails? 
We absolutely love serving cocktails! “His & Hers” is an extremely popular way of incorporating cocktails into your event.
We can work with you on the options to choose from, or work with you to create something unique to you. 

Does Charlie Grace have a sound system?
Yes! Bluetooth system is available to provide a nice background sound. No charge for this! 

Does Charlie Grace need to be hooked up to power?
Not necessarily. While we definitely prefer mains power (to avoid noisy generators), we can make it work if you send us to remote locations. (Please note: Generator may incur an additional fee) 

Do you do table service? 
Not usually, most clients prefer us to serve only from Charlie Grace. This is great for you as your guests are forced to leave their table and mingle with other guests. It also keeps alcohol costs and wastes down as people don't tend to drink as much when it's not being consistently topped up! Our staff will rove around, pick up empty glasses and bottles. We can offer this service if you'd like it as an option, please ask us when requesting a quote. 

How big is Charlie Grace? 
Charlie Grace will require a flat surface to park up and is approximately 4m long and 2m wide + drawbar. The aim is to make Charlie Grace a great feature at your event! 

Does Charlie Grace provide glasses?
Yes, Charlie Grace comes stocked with enough glassware for up to 50 people. I am happy to source more if needed at an additional cost. A complimentary refreshment station is also set up with drink dispensers featuring seasonal infused water. 

When do you set up?
Charlie Grace will arrive at least 1 hour before your event. In some instances, we can do this earlier, please let me know when you enquire about the timing of your event. 

What do I need to organise before the caravan arrival?
We will need access to the pre-chilled beverages. Depending on the size of the event, I may need a small chiller trailer that can be hired from most liquor stores. We can store quite a bit inside the caravan and what we can’t - is kept nearby and replenished as we go.  

Do you have cancellation fees?
Yes. Once the booking is confirmed, that date is solely yours.
Once you have a date in mind please contact me to secure your event date, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event date.
Please note that booking deposits are non-refundable.

Do we do food?
Yes, we can provide some food made out of our commercial kitchen based at Turanga Creek Vineyard.
